Our ToDdLeR!!

Well, I no longer have a baby boy, but a toddler! Britton had such a wonderful birthday weekend! His party was on Saturday and he had so much fun! There was a lot of work and time put into it the decorations, the favors, the cake, the food, all of it....in the end it was beyond worth it. I know that Britton will not remember this party so I guess I'll just have to keep doing them big until he does. ;) Kyle and I waited what seemed like forever to have a child that I can't imagine a party that is not big to celebrate our blessing! He had many friends and family come to share in his special day. Kyle and I are so thankful for all of you and for loving on our little man.

Playing in his tunnel from Lucas!

So many gifts....he's pretty excited about it!

Britton's actual birthday was also fun for him. He got to have his first doughnut for breakfast and a lunch with only big boy food, no baby food in sight! :) He played with us and his Mimi, Pa and P. Such a cute little cuddle bug he is and that smile brightens my day! I'm afraid that he has his Momma and his Daddy wrapped around that adorable finger of his! Again, a huge thank you for making his day amazing! HaPpY BiRtHdAy BrItToN!!

...You say it's your BiRtHdAy...

well, almost! Our sweet baby boy will turn one next Sunday, January 24th. I have been planning this party and trying to prepare myself for this day since November. To think I will no longer be the Mom of a baby, but a toddler, breaks my heart! This year has been so wonderful watching Britton grow and learn and though I know it will continue to do so it also means that it's passing by too quickly! I'm excited for our family and friends to help us celebrate this day and see how Britton reacts to everything, especially the cake!If he is anything like his Momma he will love that part the best!!

On a side note we had to take Britton to see Dr. Huber on Wednesday. HE is an ENT specialist and told us what we thought was coming. The little man has to have tubes. The day we took him he had been pulling on his ears and what to do know, he had gotten yet another ear infection. That makes 5 since the end of October! We go on Feb. 2nd to have his surgery for his tubes. It seems to be a fairly simple and quick surgery, but still the word surgery on my little boy makes me nervous. Pray for stead hands for Dr. Huber, calmness for Britton, and no anxiety for Mom and Dad!

We will be sure to upload lots and lots of birthday pictures when the time comes. Too bad they can't stay this small for long!!
