Britton's first trip to Sea Grove

Britton must have been born to be a water baby! He loves the pool, love baths and was a fan of the ocean as well. Though this first beach trip it seemed he was not as impressed with the ocean as he was the sand! He wanted to play in it with his feet every time we put him anywhere near the sand. It did get into his mouth once or twice, he handled that well and in his ear often, he didn't seem to mind that until it was time to clean it out. We had a great time and it was good to get away. The week passed so quickly!

We got to FL on Saturday afternoon after Britton had done a good job with a 7 hour drive... that turned into 8! He liked the beach that day, especially laying on the beach! While at the beach on Sunday it started raining and our time was cut short! Kyle of course wanted to eat at Elmo's that night for the all you can eat snow crabs, yuck! Monday we spent most of the day at the outlet mall in Sandestin since we had our pictures that night I didn't want Britton (or Kyle :) ) to be too tired or burned! Pictures went wonderfully! Britton was such a ham for the first 15 minutes then we got pictures with his serious face. Regardless I'm excited we got them done and can't wait to have them here. The rest of the week we went to the beach and stayed as long as Britton would let us! He cooperated and let us feed him there and he even took his nap there too! We went to the usual places to eat that Kyle and I enjoy and spent several evenings in Sea Side for walking around, Dawson's Yogurt, Queen Bee's cupcakes and a free outdoors concert! One day we went to Sandestin to a place called Baytowne Wharf that Kyle had never been too. It was a cute little place and will be fun for Britton when he is older.

We had a lot of fun watching Britton have so many firsts and can't wait to see how he likes the beach next year when he can run around.... that may be a tiring time for us!
