Excuse our months of MIA....Life with two, 2 and under is a bit hEcTiC :)

I know, I know our last post was about Valentine's Day and here it is August 1st! Whoops!! Let me catch you up quickly...well as quickly as I can while sharing adorable pictures! That's what Momma's are suppose to do, right?!

March:

*We attended "zoo school" at the Nashville Zoo and Britton absolutely LOVED it!! He is not afraid of anything and very eager to see and touch each new animal!

*I return to work from maternity leave. :( A huge boo can be inserted here.) My kids had to be "retrained" and it was stressful, but I was glad to see their face again.....most of them! :)

*Foster started daycare with Britton. He did incredible, Momma on the other hand was a different story!
* I participated in my first consignment sale as a seller. It was quite the success and I actually just signed up to do the same sale for the fall!
*The Lipscomb Jamaica Mission group went to sweet Jamaica without Kyle AND without me. I had such mixed feelings about this. I wasn't ready to leave Foster and at the same time my heart ached the entire week knowing that I was not getting to spend such precious time with my Jamaican family.
* I had a wonderful birthday week that included a new car, iPhone and camera....oh, yeah I turned 29! Yikes, so close to 30!! I've decided I am loving my life right now and it can only get better, so bring on 30! :)

*We celebrated St. Patrick's Day to the fullest! Trails of clovers left by our visitors, special shirts, green food and even green water for our baths!

April:

*Foster turned 6 months old....so we of course had to celebrate his first half birthday!

*We celebrated Kyle turning 29! :) He had a weekend get-away with some of his fraternity brothers to start his celebration.
*Foster started oatmeal and rice cereal!

*We also hosted Easter again at our house, so much work, but so worth it!

May:

*Kyle planned a fun outdoor get-away for Mother's Day weekend. We spent the weekend at Fall Creek Falls hiking and playing. It was great and the boys had a good time too!

*We spent Memorial Day at Kyle's parents. We had a little cook-out and swimming....Britton is such a fish!

*Foster has his 6 month check-up and we were given the final go ahead to start him on baby food!! He decided he loved applesauce and sweet potatoes right away, just like his brother!

June & July:

Yay for being home with the boy's for the summer!! We had so much fun! We spent our days at the zoo, riding the "choo choo," play dates, swimming, learning to put on and take off our own shoes, going to visit family in NC and IN, having Kelcie stay with us for a week, and reconnecting with old friends with new babies. :)

We also went to the beach for a week in July, but that trip deserves it's very own post! :) Thanks for sticking with us, despite my lack of updates!

♥HaPpY♥VaLeNtInE's♥DaY

Kyle and I were able to go to dinner, just the two of us, for an early Valentine's Day meal! We had such a good time together and the wonderful meal was a bonus! We will have to visit The Mad Platter again soon!

When we got home Britton wanted to take pictures with us! He kept saying "more, more." He is such a silly and fun toddler! I just love him to pieces!

We didn't want Foster to feel left out! :)

Our sweet boys got gifts from us to celebrate the day! Kyle and I got gifts too! :) There is a lot of love in our family of four! What a blessing it is to have such precious sons and an incredible husband!

My newest L♥VE!!

Getting to be home every day and see this sweet smile is such a blessing. Foster Buchanan already has me wrapped around his finger, just like his big brother. He truly melts me heart. Thank you God, for family and for healthy, loving, adorable boys.

HaPpY BiRtHdAy to my sweet Britton!!

We can hardly believe that we are the parents of a two year old! Thinking back to the day that our precious son was born seems so long ago, yet just like yesterday too. Britton has become such a sweet and caring boy. He is always wanting to help his Daddy and Momma and "baby" too. He loves to dance, to run, to play musical instruments, to cook, to cuddle with his parents and be the typical boy. We feel so blessed to have a toddler who has so much love in his little heart. We pray he continues to grow into a loving man and keeps his sweet spirit. Happy Birthday Monkey, we love you to the moon and back! XOXO

The end of 2010 wrap-up

We realize that it has been so long since our last post it would take way too long to write about everything that has happened....instead, we thought we'd show you the last 3 months of 2010 in pictures! :)

As you can see it has been a very busy and crazy time in our house. Adding Foster to our family has been an easy transition and Britton is LoViNg being a big brother! We are excited and ready for a wonderful 2011 with our boys! 2009 brought us Britton....2010 brought us Foster.....as fasr as 2011 goes....who knows! :) For now I'm trying o come to term with the fact that my precious baby is going to turn 2 in a week!

**Sorry some of this is underlined, I can't get it to go away!! :) **

Where has the time gone??

I promise to write a "real" post this week, since it's Fall Break and I'll actually have time to perhaps sit down! A quick up date for all of those who have asked....

1. Yes, we are back in the house and almost done unpacking! :)
2. Yes, my foot is still broken. I am now only having to wear my boot every other day!
3. Yes, I'm still pregnant! We are somewhere between 37 and 38 weeks along. We have a scheduled C-Section for Nov. 2nd! YAY for Foster soon being here and for Britton being a big brother.
4. My maternity leave starts on October 25th and yes, they found someone to be in my room.
5. NO, I have not updated any pictures in way too long. Sorry to add to that disappointment, but I have not taken a picture of Foster and I, aka: a belly shot, since week 31. I'll get on that...tomorrow maybe. :)
